HAVERHILL COUNCIL 202
Knight-Times
                                                                  FEBRUARY, 2010

A Catholic Family Fraternal Service Organization – FEBRUARY, 2010

FROM THE DEACON:

We have entered the Season of Lent. With it comes a time of reflection and contemplation, exploring one's relationship with the Human Christ. Walking with Christ is what we as Brother Knights strive to do in our lives. We constantly ask ourselves, “What can we do to make a difference in our own lives and in the world around us.” We give to the poor and give back to our church community. Through our efforts we spread the Living Word of Our Lord Jesus Christ. This Lenten Season will be no different. Understand this: We will be challenged even more because of the economy and the economic strain that countless families find themselves in. Together we can continue to make a difference and impact the lives of all those individuals we touch while doing the work of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fraternally Yours,

Deacon Tom Anthony

CHARLIE EASTMAN

This we lost a true friend and Brother Knight with the death of Charlie Eastman. On a personal note, he and I took our Fourth Degree together. Charlie was very active in the All Saint Food Pantry and was also a founding member. Rest in Peace Charlie. You have received your just reward in Christ.
