My Brothers in Christ,
The Basketball Free-Throw was a tremendous success and I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who was involved. February 25th is the District Free-throw at Saint Joseph’s School in Haverhill. The champions from Council 202 will be going up against the Ipswich Council. Anyone who would like to volunteer is welcome to come. It should be a wonderful evening. We will be submitting our Semi-Annual Audit this month and will also be sending out our Second Notice for dues. I do ask all Brother Knights to be patient with this process: it has been a busy time for all of us and the Recession has put an extra strain on who can offer what time they have to address council needs.
I am also happy to announce that, with the help of Council 202, the Haverhill Chapter of Massachusetts Citizens for Life has been established and has held their first Chapter Meeting on February 10th. Right after the meeting, the Chapter Sprung into action. The abortion clinic on Groveland Street in Haverhill dumped a massive amount of snow from its parking lot onto the protest zone so it was completely covered. It was suspected that this was not a random event. Members of Council 202 and MCFL Haverhill Chapter went up with shovels and snow-blowers to clear the area. It is amazing what work can be done when it is in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I look forward to an ongoing relationship with the MCFL Haverhill Chapter. I can only fathom what good works we can do in the name of the Unborn.
OUR NEXT MEETING WILL BE THIS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH
AT ALL SAINTS CHURCH IN SAINT GEORGE’S ROOM. PLEASE COME AND ATTEND. THERE IS A LOT OF GOOD STUFF GOING ON.
The Second Notice will be mailed out this month. Please support the continued good works of this council be remaining a member in good standing.

CITIZENS FOR LIFE HAS ORGANIZED
The MCFL Haverhill Chapter has organized and will be holding meetings the Second Thursday of each month in the Parish Hall of Saint John the Baptist Church at 7:00 pm. The next meeting will be March 10th. Please come and show your support for the Pro-Life movement!!!!!
Saint John the Baptist Church will be having a 24 hour Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament to begin the Season of Lent. Exposition will start Tuesday Morning march 8th at 9:30 am after the Morning Mass and end Ash Wednesday at 8:30 am. There will be a sign up sheet available at the back of the church after all masses.
